If you do not know about the x700, you definitely should. A great, incredibly popular offering from Minolta. One of best film SLR cameras I have owned to date. Everything works flawlessly. The glass is clean and on the 45mm, and the viewfinder only has light dust specs. Beautiful color rendering. Battery included along with a couple expired rolls (2008) to get you started. The databack adds date imprint functions, as well as interval shooting that can be used as a pretty nifty self timer. Have fun!

(Watch out when buying the x-series elsewhere. Many Minolta x-series SLRs have capacitor issues causing the battery to drain in less than a week. Both capacitors have been changed out in this camera, and no battery or metering issues whatsoever.)
