Fascinating Fred Harvey Era Native American 925 sterling silver balls bracelet
Fascinating Fred Harvey Era Native American 925 sterling silver balls bracelet
Fantastic, amazeballs, wow...this bracelet is the most unique Fred Harvey Era piece I''ve come across. It is wonderfully handmade by a skilled Native American artisan and is a definite example of earlier 1940s silver work. It feautures 5 shanks, with wider ones at the top and bottom and three thinner ones in the center. On the diagonal are 5 beautiful handmade large balls , dots, or raindrops. They are rather large in size and extremely well made. On the sides is lovely stampwork of with arrows, sunface, and frogs...all important symbols in Native American culture. Currently at a size 6.5 inches, but with some flex could probably extend to a 7 max. Coveted in fantastic patina from age...a collectors dream. There are no dents on the balls, but two of the thinner lines seem to be hammered up? All but adds to the character of this piece. No stamps as typical of older Native pieces, but tested as sterling, guaranteed.Tags: Native American, Southwestern, Western, jewelry, ranch girl, v
